It is very easy to make a lattice coop using two 8 foot wide by two feet high PVC lattice sheets found in home improvement stores such as Lowes or Home Depot. You can also purchase PVC channels that attach to the edges of the sheets to make them look more finished and less likely to catch on something. This is an easy and relatively inexpensive jump filler.
This shows the PVC lattice with the channels attached to two sides. You can purchase the channels in the same color as the lattice or in a contrasting color. Secure channels to lattice using zip ties at regular intervals.
Secure both panels together along the top of one side, leaving a little bit of leeway in the zip ties to allow you to spread the bottom of the panel apart to create a coop.
